SS 140, Introduction to Strategic Communication
This course is a continuation of Introduction to Strategic Communication (US Embassy) working in and through a US Embassy. The intent of this course is to have the student receive classes from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) detailing differences in cultures and what to do about them, specific country issues briefings and one-on-one interaction from senior Department of State members giving dos and don’ts when working in or through a US Embassy. The course highlight is an address by a former US Ambassador giving personal insight to what is expected from visitors. Practical exercises are used throughout the course to train the students in proper techniques.
